Human Face Recognition


This software recognizes the identity of persons that have been previously registered on a face database. It is supported by the following 3 robots:

  1. Robot Motion: Motion Detector.
  2. Robot Guardian: Unattended Object Detector and Missing Object Detector .
  3. Robot Kao: Human Faces Detector

The principal goal of these robots is to collect images, so that, they can afterwards be used by the software Robot Faces Fnd to recognize faces.

In general, all images that are produced by this software, are used by the face recognition function to find the identification of persons. When a face is recognized, a complete report is elaborated showing the most similar faces found at the database and their corresponding scores.

Users are able to recognize faces using any of the following options:

  1. Recognize faces online using camera No. 1. This option is ideal for police stations, when one person is located just in front of camera No. 1 to find his identification.
  2. Recognize faces using one or all images that are produced by this software.
  3. Recognize faces using one of the images that exist on his computer.


Users are able to:

  1. No need video cards installed on your PC.
  2. Connect up to 16 cameras. Note: Because of this software does not need video cards installed on your PC, the real number of cameras to be able to connect depends on your computer. If you have a strong PC, you will be able to connect up to 16 cameras. This number will decrease as your computer is no so strong
  3. Control this software by using emails.
  4. Receive periodic emails with images from your cameras.
  5. Broadcast live video up to 16 cameras simultaneously through Internet using network streaming.
  6. Broadcast live video up to 16 cameras simultaneously through Internet using publishing points.
  7. Take pictures and record video/audio files periodically.
  8. Store and maintain a complete history of images and video files.
  9. Maintain the log of events for all cameras.
  10. Configure the video quality of your cameras.
  11. Configure the video quality of the live streaming for all cameras.
  12. Record video/audio files continuously from any camera.
  13. Upload images and video files to a FTP server.
  14. Hide this software, so that, nobody can see it while it's working.


This software will:

  1. Show the most similar faces of every detected face and their corresponding identification.
  2. Generate a written report of every detected face showing the most similar faces existing on the face database.


  • In order to obtain the best recognition results, rotation of faces for registration and for recognition, must be: (left) -30..+30 (right) degrees, and (up) -20..+20 (down) degrees.

  2. HD webcams: e.g. Logitech C920 with native H264 to MP4 recording, Creative Live!Cam InPerson HD with hardware MPEG2, etc.
  3. USB analog Composite/SVideo capture devices: e.g. EasyCap, Hauppauge USB-Live-2, etc.
  4. IP cameras: in MJPEG or JPEG modes.
  5. PCI analog Composite/SVideo and digital capture cards: e.g. OsPrey 210, etc.
  6. Professional capture/rendering cards: e.g. Blackmagic Decklink, AJA Kona, etc.
  7. PCI/PCIe capture cards with hardware encoder,: e.g. Hauppauge Colossus, Sensoray 2250S, etc.
  8. GigE cameras: with a DirectShow driver, e.g. Point Grey cameras, etc.
  9. HD camcorders: through firewire or USB, e.g. Canon HV30, etc.
